My focus, joy and pleasure is to share my knowledge so you can understand and heal your relationship between chronic stress and disease. I'm an experienced certified nutritionist, certified stress management counselor and certified grief-recovery specialist with over 13 years in the trenches. (bio) I know personally what it is like to be seriously ill. |
My Story In the late 1980’s, I began experiencing many life-debilitating illnesses (Gout, adrenal burnout, extreme fatigue, low energy and endurance, anemia, critically high cholesterol and Lipoprotein-A, Hashimotos Thyroiditis, H. Pylori Ulcer, uncontrollable food addictions, weakening perimenopause symptoms, hypoglycemia, borderline diabetes, chronic constipation, spastic colon and irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, hormonal havoc....just to name a few!). I know what it is like to be very weak, in pain and even incapacitated. My doctors prescribed drugs, painful procedures and surgeries. I was scared to death, felt horrible and was growing weaker by the minute. I knew my doctors were right about my illnesses, but going 'under the knife' and taking pharmaceutical drugs with all their nasty side effects, seemed even more frightening. I knew there must be another way. I had to deal with my realities, get tough and GET WELL. I had to discover how to work along with my doctors AND not take drugs or have painful procedures/surgeries. So, I set out on an intensive search for anything and everything natural that could heal me. Today, I'm happy to say that I'm very much alive and healthy without the use of many pharmaceutical drugs or unnecessary surgeries! Along the way in my personal healing journey, I became a certified nutritionist, megavitamin specialist, a grief-recovery and stress management counselor and have a private practice in California. I realize that my illnesses were the greatest blessing from God to discover my life’s mission, which is to help people understand and heal their relationship between chronic stress and disease.
